“See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely
to the place I have prepared for you.”
— Exodus 23:20 (NLT)
If you’ve been holding on to prophetic promises — especially ones that feel like they’ve been delayed or even denied — I’ve got good news for you. This is your season! God is getting ready to bring you into the very places He has prepared for you. I’m not just declaring this as a general encouragement. This is a now word from the Lord — a word I’ve received, a word I’m living in real time, and a word I believe is for YOU, as well.
There are homes, lands, buildings, assignments, mantles, and ministries that God has had in the works for years — maybe decades — for you. And now is the time. Many have felt like Moses on the backside of nowhere, wondering if it’s too late or if you somehow missed it. But just like God suddenly showed up in Moses’s wilderness and suddenly launched him into his destiny after forty years on the backside of nowhere, He’s about to do the same for you. This is a season of divine acceleration, advancement, and fulfillment.
This Is Not Just a Promise — It’s a Prepared Place
In John 14:2-3, Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you.” Yes, that points to our eternal home in heaven, but it also reveals God’s nature. He prepares places for us in the now. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The same One who restored Peter and propelled him into his ministry in the Book of Acts is preparing you to step into what He has prepared for you.
God isn’t asking you to make it happen. He’s simply asking you to partner with Him. And He’s giving us a clear strategy to position ourselves for the promise. Let me share five keys the Lord showed me to help us align with what He’s doing right now:
- Believe and Receive
This may sound basic, but it’s crucial. In Mark 11:24, Jesus says, “Believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” That word “receive” is lambano in the Greek. It means to actively lay hold of something that belongs to you. Not passive. Not wait and see. This is a faith that grabs hold of what God is offering. You’re not striving when you lambano, you’re laying hold of what’s already yours in Christ.
- Agree and Decree
When the angel told Mary she’d give birth to the Messiah, Mary didn’t fully understand — but she still said, “Let it be unto me according to your word.” That’s Luke 1:38. That’s agreement. That’s decree. And it changed everything.
Job 22:28 says, “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you.” Your words have power. Your declarations in agreement with God’s promises open the way for them to manifest. Don’t just hope for it — speak it! Speak His word. Speak His truth. Speak your promise into the atmosphere.
- Refuse Discouragement
In Luke 18:1, Jesus said we should “pray and never give up.” When delay tries to whisper “denial,” don’t believe it. That delay could actually be setting you up for something far greater than you imagined.
When a property we believed was “the one” fell through, we stayed in faith. We refused to give in to discouragement. And within days, God opened the door to an even better property for our new RHM Center on the exact street He had highlighted to us years before — with everything we needed and more. Why? Because we didn’t let a “delay” derail the promise.
- Sow into What You’re Believing For
This is a powerful Kingdom principle. Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you.” When God began stirring my heart years ago for the RHM Center and studio, we sowed into other ministries believing for buildings and media spaces. Why? Because we weren’t just giving — we were sowing with intention. Sowing and reaping is a powerful Kingdom principle. It’s a divine system that does not fail. It’s alignment. It’s participation. You’re saying, “God, I believe this word, and I’m sowing into it because I know I have a harvest coming.”
- Be Grateful Where You Are
It may seem counterintuitive to be grateful for where you are when you are believing for something more, but I’ve learned that thanksgiving is a key to multiplication. In John 6:11, Jesus lifted up a few loaves and fish and gave thanks — before the miracle. That simple act of gratitude unlocked the supernatural.
Years ago, I was living in a little metal trailer in the middle of a parking lot in the Arizona desert. I didn’t love it. But when I shifted my attitude and began thanking God for it, something broke open. Within weeks, I was supernaturally brought into a home that became my base for the next 20 years of ministry. Gratitude makes room for increase.
The Word Is Already in Motion
I’m not just releasing this word to you — I’m living it. RHM is in the process of moving into the building God promised us in 2023. It has everything He showed us: studio, office, prayer room, seminar space. And it’s even on the exact street He highlighted years ago. It all came together suddenly — just like He said it would.
And He made it clear to me: “This is not just fulfillment for you. It’s a sign for My people. What I’ve done for you, I’m doing for them.”
So let me say this plainly: Get ready!
This is your season. God is bringing you into the place He has prepared. Homes. Lands. Buildings. Assignments. Mantles. Favor. Doors are opening. Provision is coming. It’s not too late. You haven’t missed it.
Activation Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You are the God who prepares places for us. Thank You that You never forget a promise, and You are faithful to bring it to pass. I believe this word is for me. I receive it by faith. I agree with what You’ve said, and I decree that I will walk in every good thing You’ve prepared. I reject discouragement. I choose faith. I will sow with purpose and praise You for where I am, knowing it all leads to the place You’ve made ready for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
