Patricia shares 10 hope decrees reminding us that He promised us a “future and a hope.”
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welcome
and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’”
In these days, many feel void of hope for their future. The circumstances that have hit the world over the past two years have left many shaken. In life we can find ourselves in circumstances that attempt to destroy our hope and leave us feeling helpless, low, weak, troubled, and depressed.
Hope is a joyful expectation for a good outcome. Hope is very powerful and causes good outcomes to break forth. It will lift you up above the trying circumstances that surround you. Hope is a catalyst for breakthroughs in your life and for dreams to come to pass.
We never need to give into the lie of hopelessness because God has promised us a “future and a hope.” No matter how difficult things might be, we need to always stir up hope and look for ways that we can stir hope in others. God wants us to be filled with hope and then use each of us as His “Hope Ambassadors” to reach the world around us, because in Jesus, everything works together for good for all who trust Him.
My father was a very positive man and never lost hope. He faced some serious problems in his life that were challenging for sure. The onlooker at times thought it to be impossible for a good outcome to appear, but my father would never look at how hard or difficult the situation was. He always had hope. When things didn’t turn out the way he desired, he looked beyond the situation and focused on positive things. At the end of his life, he was still full of hope, joy, fruitfulness, and peace.
Here is a promise to those of you who might be feeling hopeless. As you meditate on this promise, may hope come alive within you no matter what you are facing!
For there is hope for a tree,
When it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and its shoots will not fail.
Though its roots grow old in the ground and its stump dies in the dry soil,
At the scent of water it will flourish and put forth sprigs like a plant.

BLESSED TO BLESS – Book / eBook from Patricia King
“Lord, I want to be a Benefactor!” When God promised Patricia King that He would bring benefactors to help with ministry assignments, she answered, “God, I am thankful beyond words…but I want to BE a benefactor!” The Lord responded, “I shall both make you a benefactor and send you benefactors.”
God wants to do this for all His people! He wants you to have benefactors in your life, but more importantly, He wants to make you a benefactor. Blessed to Bless offers sound principles on how to experience blessing in your own life in greater measure, then take ownership of your benefactor calling to bless others.
God has a glorious destiny for you! Doesn’t that excite you? However, though we may know these and similar verses by heart and even decree them faithfully, for some, “getting there” is another matter. To begin with, what, exactly, does a “glorious future” entail?
In this course we will review in depth God’s original intent for man since Creation … hint: it is all good! We will dedicate some time to “faith-building” because if we don’t believe it, we won’t achieve it. Then we will see all that we have inherited in Him as His children, as well as the spiritual and practical resources He has provided us so we, who have been made in the image of our Creator, can create with Him the life He has planned for us.
You were created to be blessed, to know the very best that God has to offer all the days of your life. If you have been living in a place of lack, hardship, or frustration, it is time to shift into the Blessing Zone and know the goodness of God in every area of your life!
