Patricia King is a respected apostolic minister of the gospel, successful business owner, and an inventive entrepreneur. She is an accomplished itinerant speaker, author, television host, media producer, and ministry network overseer who has given her life fully to Jesus Christ and to His Kingdom’s advancement in the earth. She is the founder of Patricia King Ministries and co-founder of XPmedia.com. In this month’s devotional Patricia shares how to appropriate His promises into our lives by faith.
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God
must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
I like to think of faith as our God-given downloader and connector to His promises … to His divine glory. My first time into Las Vegas, a pastor took me and my ministry team to a buffet. I thought I had died and gone to heaven! It was the largest display of food I had ever seen. There were counters of salads, seafood, beef, chicken, turkey, ham, Asian food, Mexican food, Italian food, vegetables, breads and spreads, appetizers, desserts and beverages. Everything was available to us once we passed through the entrance gate. The pastor had paid for our meal tickets so we could pass through.
In a buffet, the food is yours for the taking. It has been prepared, cooked, and presented, BUT it is up to you to fill your plate. A person could actually starve sitting in a buffet long enough if they do not fill their plate with the food available to them.
All the promises of God were given two thousand years ago to everyone who believes. God has held nothing back. Ephesians 1:3 teaches that every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places has already been given to us. Second Peter 1:2-4 further confirms that we have been given everything that pertains to life and godliness, and all the exceedingly great and precious promises are already ours in Christ.
These promises are for every believer to enjoy. Jesus paid the “meal ticket” for our entrance into this divine buffet of promises and blessings through His death on the cross. They have all been prepared and made available to us, but we need to use our faith to “fill our plates.” All the promises are to be appropriated into our lives by faith.
Hebrews 11:6 says that we cannot please God without faith. Habakkuk 2:4 teaches that the righteous lives by his faith. Faith is your connector to the promises. Faith is your spiritual “downloader.”
Jesus taught us that all things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23). Activate your faith daily and enjoy the manifestation of God’s promises and blessings in your life.
Below are some decrees based on God’s Word that you can proclaim over yourself and your loved ones this month. Decrees of the Word of God are powerful prayer tools.
I decree that:
- I have faith in God, therefore when I speak to obstacles in my life, they move.
- I rejoice and give thanks because the faith that is in me is bearing much fruit.
- I step out in bold faith, with confidence, knowing that nothing is impossible for God.
- As I walk in faith, I experience the things I have hoped for and the manifestation of what I believe.
- Because I believe, God answers me even before the word is on my lips.
- God takes pleasure in me because my faith pleases Him.
- Through faith I call those things that are not as though they are. By faith I call God’s purposes into being.
- All things are possible to me in Christ because I believe.
- I commit all my ways to God in faith. I trust Him in everything.
- I take up the shield of faith that quenches every fiery dart of the enemy that comes against me or my loved ones.
The above decrees are based on the following Scriptures:
Mark 11:22; Ephesians 3:12; Hebrews 11:1-6; 1 Corinthians 16:13; Ezekiel 37:1-14; Isaiah 65:24; Luke 18:27; Psalm 37:5; Ephesians 6:16

CHILDLIKE FAITH FOR GROWNUPS – MP3 teaching from Patricia King
Faith is the currency of heaven. It is the substance that creates the reality of the kingdom in our lives and in the earth. It lays hold of God’s provision, power, presence and purposes. Faith is powerful. And childlike faith that simple faith that trusts and expects the goodness of our loving Father all the time in all our circumstances no matter what that is the faith that moves mountains. That is why the enemy works so hard at destroying childlike faith in believers, by reminding us of every time it seems like God didnt show up how or when we wanted. When we begin to doubt God, we begin to lose the power of our childlike expectant faith. But it can be restored, bigger and better than ever. In this teaching, Patricia King delves into the power of childlike faith, how we can lose it and how we can allow the Lord to restore us to that place of simple, profound expectancy. Its time to move past the disappointments of the past and learn how to dream big with God again.
