These were the powerful words that filled my heart one morning as I woke up, overflowing with excitement. As I meditate on this word, I’m reminded of Isaiah 60 as it opens with an incredible declaration, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” And it ends with a divine promise, “I, the Lord, will bring it about quickly in its time.” Isaiah 60 is such a powerful chapter, and I urge you—yes, you—to read it and let it speak to your spirit!
As I meditated on that word and the message of Isaiah 60, I believe the Lord gave me insight for this fall season where so much is happening both naturally and spiritually.
Fall is a season of beauty and transformation. Across much of the U.S., cooler temperatures arrive, and trees begin to go dormant, preparing for winter. Our thoughts start to shift toward the holidays. But spiritually, there’s an even greater shift taking place. Rosh Hashanah (the Feast of Trumpets) is here—a sacred time to seek the Lord, repent, receive His forgiveness, and set new goals for the year ahead. We are stepping into 5785, a year marked by breakthrough grace, reminding us of the undeserved grace we receive through our Lord Jesus Christ.
At the time of writing this, we are in the month of September, which on the Jewish calendar is “Elul”—a month of preparation, positioning ourselves for Rosh Hashanah.
In the midst of everything happening in the world, I truly believe we are about to witness the breakthrough grace of the Lord in a bold, undeniable way—a loud declaration to the world that He is God! And I want to encourage you: the signs of the Lord’s movement aren’t tied to political seasons or global turmoil, no matter how many leaders of nations rise or fall. He is with us through it all. Yes, there will be more exposure of evil, but also watch for the exposure of His wonders and miracles!
Remember, during a time of chaos and great difficulty for the Jewish people, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to show us the lovingkindness of God. He is and always will be our breakthrough grace in every season.
We are not called to be of this world, but we are here in it for a purpose—to display the mercy and breakthrough grace of Jesus to those around us. But first, we have to recognize the grace that’s been poured out on us in this season.
So, as you prepare your heart for this season and get ready to set your goals for the new year, repent, seek forgiveness from God and others and also give forgiveness. Declare His Word over your life each and every day. The Bible is the living Word of God! Be vigilant—watch for the miracles, signs, and wonders happening all around you no matter how big or small. Give thanks, share the testimonies of what He is doing everywhere you can, and trust Him to set everything in your life in divine order.
I prophesy that this is your time—step into it with faith and expectation of things falling into place on your behalf!
